Custodial Worker I

The North Syracuse Central School District is seeking applicants to fill the position of probationary Custodial Worker I at the North Syracuse Junior High School.

This is a 3rd shift position - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am

Starting rate - $27.88/hr.  plus shift differential

40 hours per week

Eligible for employee health, dental and vision benefits as well as life insurance, 403b and NYSLRS retirement system.

 

School Secretary I - 11 Month

The North Syracuse Central School District is seeking applicants to fill the position of a School Secretary I - 11 Months at the North Syracuse Junior High School.

Hours - 6:45 am - 2:45 pm

Starting rate - $28.98/hr.

Must meet the Civil Service minimum qualifications.

Promotion:

 A) One (1) year of continuous permanent competitive class status in the title of Typist II or,

 B) Two (2) years of continuous permanent competitive class status in the title of Typist I or Stenographer I.

 Open Competitive:

        A.  Two (2) years of office experience, or its part-time equivalent, which must have included         typing and clerical work as a primary function of the job; or,

  1. An Associate's degree in Business or Administrative Assistant, or a closely related field, which must have included coursework in typing, keyboarding and/or word processing.

Note: Post-secondary education from a regionally accredited college, university or business school or one accredited by the New York State Board of Regents to grant degrees with a concentration in Secretarial Science or Administrative Assistant may be substituted for the above experience on a year for year basis.

 

Science Teacher (Earth Science) - probationary

The North Syracuse Central School District is seeking applications for a probationary Earth Science Teacher.

Applicants must hold NYS certification.
